Eya1基因在小鼠眼发育过程中功能的初步研究
Primary Study on Eya1 Gene’s Functions in Mouse Eye Development
【摘要】 以Eya1基因的敲除突变小鼠为实验对象,初步研究了Eya1基因在小鼠眼发育中的作用.结果发现,Eya1基因功能完全丧失的敲除突变纯合子(Eya1-/-)胚胎的双侧眼皮均不能融合,27.3%的Eya1+/-胚胎单侧或双侧眼皮不能完全融合;而在Eya1基因有较强表达的其它主要结构如晶状体(lens)、色素视网膜(pigmentalretina)、眼神经(opticnerve)中均未发现异常.结果表明,Eya1为小鼠眼皮融合的决定性基因;而在眼的其它结构的发育中存在与Eya1具有互补作用的基因.
【Abstract】 Eya1 knock-out mutant mice were used to dig the functions of Eya1 in eye development. Results:1.no abnormalities were found in Eya1 mutant embryos’ eye development but failure of eyelid fusion;2.100% of Eya1 -/- embryos could not start eyelid fusion and 24% of Eya1 +/- embryos could not complete eyelid fusion. Conclusion:1.Eya1 is required in the process of eyelid fusion;2.other gene(s) is(are) redundant to Eya1 in mouse eye development.
