基于阴影轮廓差分投影方法的快速定位车体算法
A Fast Algorithm for Localization Vehicle Based on Shadow Contour Difference Projection
【摘要】 利用阴影轮廓特征,提出了一种快速分离和定位车体算法.该算法利用车体形成的阴影轮廓曲线,根据不同的阴影方向模型进行水平和垂直方向的轮廓差分投影,利用轮廓差分投影曲线定位阴影与车体边界的特征点,从而分离和定位车体.实验图象数据研究表明,该算法具有较好的鲁棒性和准确性,同时从其运行的时间来看,完全能满足实时的车型识别系统的需要.
【Abstract】 It is an important and key part for vehicle recognition in intelligent transportation system, and it also plays an important role in road management and traffic flow information statistics. However, there are many disturbances in its applications, such as shadow, the result of recognition will be influenced. A fast and novel localization method based on contour difference projection has provided. Firstly, this method will search feature points in horizontal and vertical contour difference projection curve, then the boundary between shadow and vehicle will be located by means of feature points. Very promising experimental results are provided using realtime vehicle image sequences. Experimental results have confirmed that this proposed localization method is efficient and reliable, and its computation cost can also satisfy the VRS.
