【Abstract】 Yan Zhitui’s Guan Wo Sheng Fu is a narrative poetic essay, which was written between Jiande Sixth Year of Emperor Wu(577A.D.)and Daxiang Second Year of Emperor Jing(580 A.D.) in North Zhou Dynasty. The uniqueness of the narrative poetic essay is that the writer reflects history and meanwhile ponders over life,and that the writer contemplates rationally both his homeland and personal fate.
