【Abstract】 The efficient synthesis of α-(p-chlorophenyl)glycine,an important intermediate of arylpyrrole pesticides,has been achieved by employing the Strecker Synthesis.p-Chlorobenzaldehyde was used as starting material andα-amino-p-chlorophenylacetonitrile as precursor of α-(p-chlorophenyl)glycine.Based on afurther understanding of the reaction chemistry,a new solvent system was used,and thus the reaction was significantly improved with a good total yield of about 60%.更多还原
