扇贝性腺和肠组织表达序列标签的初步识别
Analysis of Expressed Sequence Tags (ESTs) of Gonads and Intestine from Giant Sea Scallop, Placopecten magellanicus
【摘要】 构建了扇贝(Placopectenmagellanicus)的性腺和肠组织cDNA文库,并对96个克隆进行部分测序,获得82个表达序列标签(ESTs)序列。序列同源性搜索结果表明,72个EST序列与GenBank中的已知序列具有很高的同源性(e<10-8)。其中19个序列属于rRNA基因;53个序列分别属于44个不同的基因。在44个基因中,有36个是编码已知功能的蛋白质基因,8个与未知功能的开放阅读框具同源性(假定蛋白);此外,44个基因全部是首次在扇贝中鉴定的基因;基因的功能分类显示,36个已知功能的基因分别属于基因表达与蛋白质合成、细胞结构、物质运输、代谢、细胞调节和信号传导等6大类。
【Abstract】 A cDNA library from scallop (Placopecten magellanicus ) gonads and intestine was constructed and 82 sequences were obtained by partial sequencing from 96 clones. Sequence homology alignment revealed 72 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) with significant similarity to the sequences in GenBank (e <10-8). Nineteen sequences matched ribosome RNAs, and 53 sequences belonged to 44 different genes containing 36 genes encoding known function protein and 8 sequences with high homology to those hypothetical open reading frames (ORF) of unknown function. Moreover, all 44 genes were first identified in Placopecten magellanicus. According to the function category, 36 known function genes were relating to gene expression, cell structure, transport, metabolism, cell regulation and signal transduction.
