【Abstract】 The applyings in commercial production show that the Al - P master alloys have many advantages such as no pollution, no reaction slag, more stable and better modification effects and low total cost etc. . Fur- thermore, . it can save energy, decrease the wastage of Al - Si alloys and reduce the total cost of products . Therefore, the Al - P master alloys overcome the shortcomings of current modifiers and have a good application prospect.
