【Abstract】 Foamed plastic, a new road insulating material, can be used for replacing the traditional frost protection courses, to prevent freezing, migrating of moisture and layered crystal separating out, and prevent subgrade form frost heave and frost boiling. This article describes the application of foamed plastics, Styrofoam HI-50, for road insulating layer in the construction of road in Russia, and it provide a reference experience for building a road and controlling the frost damage in the seasonal frost region.;更多还原
