【Abstract】 More and more uses, both at home and abroad, are made of the cold - rolled ribbed steel wires and bars as building materials due to their good mechanical and constructional properties. Although there now still exists a relatively big gap between China and the advanced countries in production technologies, we have made remarkable progresses in the past decade , regarding the production scale and product variety. In general, there are two major categories of the products according to their applications, one being for fabricating welded networks for site - cast concrete structures, and the other, for making pre - stressed concrete structures.
