【Abstract】 A mythical ferocious animal, as the decorative patter n on bronze ware,cut a part icularly conspicuous figure during the Yin-Shang Dynasty.It was looked upon as t he emblem of power and offering sacrifices.Seen from morphology,the mythical fe rocious animal merged with a python formed the image of "dragon"of later ages.
