聚异丁烯基丁二酰钼添加剂的摩擦学特性研究

【摘要】 用四球摩擦磨损试验机考察了聚异丁烯基丁二酰钼(MoPIBS)在26#白油中的摩擦学性能,探讨了其同硫系添加剂的复配效果,并用Auger电子能谱仪和X射线光电子能谱仪分析了磨斑表面边界膜的化学组成和元素分布.结果表明:在边界润滑条件下,MoPIBS作为润滑油添加剂具有良好的抗磨和减摩性能,并能在一定程度上提高基础油的承载能力;MoPIBS与硫系添加剂复配时表现出较好的协同极压和减摩作用,但抗磨性能变化不大.MoPIBS在磨损表面形成主要由MoO3和含氧有机物组成的边界膜,MoPIBS/硫系复配添加剂则在磨损表面形成含MoS2和FeS的边界膜,这是添加剂具有优异摩擦学性能的主要原因.

【Abstract】 The tribological characteristics of molybdenum polyisobutenyl succinate(MoPIBS) and its combination with sulfurcontaining additive as lubricating additives in 26# white oil were evaluated on a fourball tester. The compositions and chemical states of typical elements in the boundary lubricating and protective films were analyzed by means of Xray photoelectron spectrometry and Auger electron spectroscopy. The results indicated that MoPIBS exhibited good antiwear and frictionreducing properties in the white oil but had poorer loadcarrying capacity than the Scontaining additives. The combined MoPIBS and sulfurcontaining additive showed synergistic loadcarrying and frictionreducing functions but did not have synergistic antiwear action. The boundary lubricating film composed of MoO3 and Ocontaining organic compounds was formed on the wear scar of the steel lubricated with the white oil containing MoPIBS, while the boundary lubricating and protective film was mainly composed of MoS2 plus FeS and Ocontaing organic compounds under the lubrication of the white oil containing MoPIBS and Scontaining additives, which accounted for the improved frictionreducing and antiwear abilities and loadcarrying capacity.
