【Abstract】 An energy plant is a new kind of heat supply system for the wood-based panel industry characterized by using wood residues as fuel. Compared with a traditional steam boiler, the author made a calculation on the environmental protecting indexes of an energy plant. The results revealed the superiority of an energy plant in environmental protection, energy and cost saving over the steam boiler. Also, the author reviewed the prospect of the development of an energy plant used in the forest products industry in China.更多还原
