【Abstract】 This paper analyses the favourable circumstances and the challenges brought to China agriculture after China’s entry into the WTO.It is necessary to renew the traditional modes of thought of the Chinese farmers, and to cultivate farmers’ modern awareness so as to meet the need of developing Chinese agriculture on the pace of internationalization, marketing, science and technology, and maintaining the long-termed stability and prosperity of the Chinese rural areas.
