【Abstract】 This paper introduces technology of low sulfur expandable graphite preparation, in which potassium permanganate and concentrated sulphuric acid act as blended oxide, and ferric trichloride is adopted as inserting agent. After steps of deaciding, dipping in phosphoric acid,water washing to neutrality,drying at the temperature of 60 degree,expanding at high temperature of 1050 degree and changing air with compress air, the sulphur content of made soft graphite can be less 500μg/更多还原
