Al<sub>2O3-MgO·1.35Al2O3复合浆料的流变特性研究
Study on rheological behavior of Al2O3-MgO·1.35Al2O3 suspensions
【摘要】 测试了高纯板状刚玉粉 (Al2 O3)、富铝尖晶石粉 (MgO·1 .35Al2 O3)及其复合粉料 (Al2 O3-MgO·1 .35Al2 O3)在水溶液中不同 pH值下的ζ电位 ,三者的等电点分别为 7.4、~ 3和 5 .3。研究了分散剂三聚磷酸钠对复合浆料的ζ电位和流动性的影响 ,结果表明 :外加 1wt%溶剂量的三聚磷酸钠可降低复合浆料的ζ电位约 40mV ;制备Al2 O3-MgO·1 .35Al2 O3复合浆料的理想 pH值范围为 9~ 1 1 ;复合浆料中MgO·1 .35Al2 O3对流变特性的影响比Al2 O3的大。
【Abstract】 The zeta potentials of high purity tabular alumina(Al 2O 3),alumina rich spinel(MgO·1.35Al 2O 3) and their mixture Al 2O 3-MgO·1.35Al 2O 3 at different pH values were measured.The results reveal that the isoelectric points(IEP) of Al 2O 3,MgO·1.35Al 2O 3 and Al 2O 3-MgO·1.35Al 2O 3 suspensions are 7.4,~3.0 and 5.3.The influence of dispersant sodium tripolyphosphate(STP) on the zeta potential and flow value of binary suspension was investigated.By adding 1wt% STP in the solvent,the zeta potential of the binary suspensions can be reduced 40 mV on average.The optimum pH value range for preparing the binary aqueous suspensions is between 9 and 11.Influence of MgO·1.35Al 2O 3 on rheological behavior of the binary suspensions is bigger than that of tabular alumina.
