【Abstract】 Facing the technical world intoxicated into the objective world, the meaning of "substance" is lost. Martin Heidegger and Jean Baudrillard treated "substance" with a poetic attitude. The former upheld that let substance be substance through the analysis from "handy tool" to "artistic work". The latter held that "substance" is a "semiotic system" from the angle of semiotic political economics critique. Meanwhile, their critical arrow both targeted at Marx’s material production theory, attempting to replace Marx’s inquiry about substance from material production with "existence" or "semiotic code". They lack in Marx’s so-called "reliable sense", so that neither of them could discern the real sense of substance.更多还原
