【Abstract】 Piegier’s intellectual development theory stresses the importance of the way to develop children’s intellectual and thinking abilities by taking part in some activities. This arg ument has produced a profound effect on educational development. This paper anal yses Piegier’s theory on the essence and causes of psychological development as well as the intellectual development structure. Piegier’s “Activity-based Teach ing Thought” on the basis of the interactions between subject and object finds a good place in school education.
