【Abstract】 The developing history of surface modeling is clarified. Its present state, developing tendency and the heating points of the research are analyzed. The paper points out that the research field of surface modeling technology has been extended from traditional expressing surface, surface intersection and putting surface together to shape blending, reconstruction, simplification, conversion, offset for surface, and in the expressing surface way, the scattered construction in the character of mesh subdivision is better than the traditional continuous construction.更多还原
