【Abstract】 Based on the analysis of a series of statistic data about the resources, environment, society and economics, it is indicated that there are five causes of water resources crisis in the process of sustainable development in China. They include insufficient capacity and inhomogenous spacetime distribution of natural water resources, outdated construction of water conservancy projects and water supply engineering, unreasonable industrial water consumption, increased water pollution, and incomplete management of river basins and waterworks in cities.更多还原
