【Abstract】 A field test was conducted in 1999 using extract from the heads, thoraxes and abdomens of larch cone fly (Strobilomyia laricicola, and S. melanioia) to test if this species has oviposition deterrent and sex attractant pheremones. The head and thoracic extract was sprayed on cones while the abdominal extract was used in conjunction with blue cup visual trapping. Preliminary results suggest the existence of oviposition deterrent but not sex attractant pheremones.更多还原
