【Abstract】 An introduced alien bark beetle, the red turpentine beetle Dendroctonus valens LeConte has caused serious harm on North China pine forest.However,this beetle is not an important forest pest in the West America.The red turpentine beetle attacks a diverse range of conifers and pines,and is attracted by host volatiles and the pheromones of other bark beetles.The feeding habits and the attractiveness or repellence of some semiochemicals to this pest are described.更多还原
