【Abstract】 In the present paper two new species of the Genus Parasarcophaga Johnston et Tiegs and the Genus Pierretia Robineau-Desvoidy from Sichuan, China are described and illustrated, namely Parasarcophaga abaensis sp. nov. and Pierretia shuxia sp. nov.. The type specimens are kept in the lnstitute of plant physiology & Ecology, Shanghai lnstitutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China. 1. Parasarcophaga abaensis, sp. nov. (Figs.1~5) ♂: Body length 6.0~8.0 mm. This new species belongs to the Parasarcophaga albiceps-group, colosely related to Parasarcophaga sericea (walker, 1852), but it differs from the latter in: three rows of postocular bristles; fenestella of 5th sternite of abdomen in male bare; upper part of membranous process of aedeagus broader and not protruding upwards in lateral view; lateral processes of apical part of paraphallus wedge-like in lateral view. ♀: Unknown. Holotype ♂, Maoxian County (Zhongxincun, 1800 m; 3142N, 10352E), Sichuan Prov., 23-Ⅷ-1983, coll. by Qiao Xuerong; paratypes: 2♂♂, same as holotype; 1♂, Luding (Luqiao, 1400 m; 2953N, 10201E), Sichuan Prov., 18-Ⅷ-1982, coll. by Feng Yan. 2. Pierretia shuxia, sp. nov. (Figs.6~10) ♂: Body length 8.0 mm. This new species is closely related to Pierretia lingulata (Ye, 1980), but it differs from the latter in: the mid femur with long bristles of pv; costal spine is smaller and shorter; male membranous process of aedeagus is knife-like in lateral view; ventral process of aedeagus is leaf-like in lateral view; central process of apical part of paraphallus broader and shorter. ♀: Unknown.
