【Abstract】 The effects on the operation of bio-filtration in case of filter closedown are discussed on the basis of experimental research.It was observed that in case of short-time shutdown,the normal state of filtration could recover at 2 to 6 hours.since re-startup,In case of long-time shutdown more serious effects could be observed for single layer sand filter.but no such effect was found for the filter with double-layer media of composite bed of activated carbon and quartz sand.更多还原
