【Abstract】 The task of elevator group control systems is to transfer passengers effectively and improve the operational efficiency and service quality of elevators. The key to improving performances of elevator group control systems is to identify traffic flow pattern according to different traffic flow status in multi-storied building and adopt the optimal dispatching method to dispatch elevators. A method of intelligent multi-pattern elevator group control dispatching based-on pattern recognition is proposed. The method can provide different group control strategy according to different traffic flows in a day; consequently, elevator service quality is improved.
