【Abstract】 This paper compared the differences in visual characteristics between the newly issued 2002-Style vehicle license plates and the old 92-Style ones,and briefly analyzed the influence of such differences on license plate recognition(LPR). Based on these analyses,the authors gave their suggestions for the way to improve existing LPR methods and systems to adapt to the new-style license plates.更多还原
