【Abstract】 A novel lossless medical image compression algorithm based on integer wavelet transform and subblock DPCM is presented. It can be used in realtime processing, and its hardware implementation is simple. The experimental results indicate that the compression ratio of DPCMIWT algorithm is about 12% and 13.6% higher than that of IWT algorithm and DPCM method respectively on average.更多还原
