DPCM与整数小波变换结合的医学图像无损压缩算法
Lossless Compression Algorithm for Medical Image Based on Integer Wavelet Transform and DPCM
【摘要】 提出了一种新的用于医学图像无损压缩的算法DPCM IWT。该算法可进行实时处理,硬件实现简单。实验结果表明,DPCM IWT算法的压缩率分别比IWT算法和DPCM方法平均提高12%和13.6%左右。
【Abstract】 A novel lossless medical image compression algorithm based on integer wavelet transform and subblock DPCM is presented. It can be used in realtime processing, and its hardware implementation is simple. The experimental results indicate that the compression ratio of DPCMIWT algorithm is about 12% and 13.6% higher than that of IWT algorithm and DPCM method respectively on average.
