指纹图像的高效分级分割算法
Effective Gradual Segmentation algorithm for Fingerprint Image
【摘要】 文章中提出了一种新的指纹图像分割算法,引入分级分割的观点,首先从图像中分割得到完整的指纹区域,然后从指纹区域中提取出清晰的指纹区域和受噪声干扰但可恢复的指纹区域。区域生长被引入到第一级分割中,使算法更具鲁棒性。与两种重要的指纹图像分割算法相比较,分级分割算法对不同类型的指纹图像都能精确地进行分割,是一种高效自适应的指纹图像分割算法。
【Abstract】 A new algorithm for fingerprint image segmentation is presented. Gradual segmentation algorithm and multi segmentation feature are used to segment fingerprint image in two steps.First get the whole fingerprint region from image then the welldefined region and recoverable corrupted region are segmented from first steps result.Region growing method is introduced in first step to make the algorithm more robust.Compared with Mehtres and LingHongs algorithms,this algorithm can take more accurate segmentation.
