【Abstract】 In Windows 2000, the functions of soft RAIDs can be implemented by the Miniport Driver. This paper describes the design and implementation of a buffer in this soft RAID, and especially studies the buffer re-plcement algorithms and channel parallelism. The test on Takram’s DC-200 EIDE expansion card shows that , the buffer design greatly improves the performance of small block I/O requests.更多还原
