【Abstract】 In practice, the complexity and heavily constrained operation of real-world supply chains make the development of a suitable methodology for supply chain design improvement a challenging research task. The Genetic Algorithm and Petri-Net, as parts of the Extended Petri-Nets approach, are introduced to search for the improvements in the design that satisfies the constraints imposed on the system.
