【Abstract】 According to the characteristic that genetic algorithm can easily acquire entirely optimal answer, image edge feature is detected firstly using Shenjun edge detecting operator in this paper and then GA is improved. In order to satisfy the demand of stereo matching, chromosome express method, the fitness function and corresponding genetic operators are designed.
