基于TCP/IP的网络带宽测量方法及工具
TCP/IP-based Network Bandwidth Measurement Methodology and Tool
【摘要】 随着Internet规模的急剧膨胀,基于TCP/IP的网络带宽测量越来越受到人们的关注。研究带宽测量对于TCP协议实现的改进、优化动态路由选择、网络服务SLA验证等都具有重要作用。该文讨论了现有带宽定义;系统分析了带宽测量方法及工具并将其分为5类:模拟TCP连接获得BTC;基于变长包序列模型的测量方法;基于包分散模型的测量方法;基于SLoPS的测量方法;基于网络流量模型的测量方法。最后指出了进一步的研究方向。
【Abstract】 With explosive expanding of Internet, the research on bandwidth measurement has been getting more and more attentions. The area is very important to optimizing dynamic routing in real time, et al. This paper analyzes definitions of existing bandwidth metrics. Further the paper presents reviews of existing bandwidth measurement methods, and classifies these methods into five categories: measuring BTC through simulating TCP; VPS based method; PTD based method; SLoPS based method; traffic modeling based method. The paper analyzes those methods systematacially and discusses the proper measurement tools .Finally the paper proposes some suggestions and further research director.
