【Abstract】 The Internet architecture is in a perpetual state of transition, it is a decentralized, global mesh of several thousand autonomous systems. It is very important to know about its detailed traffic and exact performance, which can help to identify and ameliorate network problems. The paper describes some experiments that measure the performances of Internet from some different aspects such as RTT, packet lose rate, throughput and so on. Through the measure data, this paper analyzes the unknown network and draw some conclusion such as where the throttle is or where the congestion occurs.
