【Abstract】 The calculation of flow field of advection sediment basin is developed and compared in this paper. It is pointed out that the assumption velocity of ideal sediment basin is not in agreement with the practical data, which may be the important contribute to the unsatisfactory treatment of sediment basin in our country.
