【Abstract】 Expanded clay indicates that the clay contains a large amount of clay mineral components, and influenced by the environmental moisture variation,the clay brings about strong swelling and compression depression and the swelling stress is produced. The main clay mineral components are montmorillonite-illite, or illite-montmorillonite. The mineral that impact on the expansivity of clay is montmorillonite. When the swelling test is underway,the author advances the value of the concerned loaded swelling rate testing parameters,the swelling rate on some particular occasions and the calculating methods of some parameters in an aim of revealing the properties of the expanded clay, and an effective analysis of foundation deformation for the expanded clay for the designing experts.更多还原
