【Abstract】 This paper makes an analysis of the characteristics of the teaching profession and the reason why many people fail to recognize the teacher’s job as a special profession. It is the author’s belief that professionalization is the only way to raise teachers’ social position, and the higher level of professionalization, the higher social position.
