掺Yb3+光纤放大器的速率-传输方程分析
Analysis on Rate Equations and Light Propagation Equations of Ytterbium-doped Fiber Amplifiers
【摘要】 文中分析了描述掺Yb3+光纤放大器(YDFA)的能级速率方程和光传输方程,得到了掺Yb3+光纤放大器的速率-传输方程组在稳态条件下的解析解,在此基础上得到了泵浦阈值和小信号下最佳光纤长度的表达式,并利用数值模拟结果对放大器的增益特性、泵浦阈值、最佳光纤长度进行分析和讨论。
【Abstract】 Based on analyzing rate equations and light propagation equations of ytterbiumdoped fiber amplifiers in this paper,analytical solutions have been derived for these equations under the condition of the steadystate.The pump threshold expression and the optimum fiber length expression of a small signal are also deduced.Using numerical simulations,gain、pump threshold power and the optimum fiber length of the amplifiers have been analyzed and discussed.
