基于离散平稳小波变换的红外图像对比度增强
Contrast Enhancement of Infrared Image Based on Discrete stationary Wavelet Transform
【摘要】 提出一种基于离散平稳小波变换的红外图像增强方法,对红外图像进行离散平稳小波变换后,分别对各个分解层的高频子带利用所提出的非线性增强方法进行对比度增强。实验结果表明,本文提出的方法在有效的提高红外图像中目标对比度的同时,又能突出红外图像的细节部分信息。算法在性能上优于传统的直方图均衡法、反锐化掩膜法和基于离散正交小波变换的对比度增强方法。
【Abstract】 A kind of infrared image enhancing method based on discrete stationary wavelet transform is given.After making discrete stationary wavelet transform to an infrared image,enhancement is done by a kind of nonlinear enhancing operator in the high frequency subbands of each decomposition level respectively. According to the result of experiment,the given algorithm can enhance the contrast of the target in infrared image effectively while it also extrudes the detail information of the target in infrared image well.In performance,the algorithm is better than traditional histogram equalization method,unsharp mask method and enhancing method based on discrete orthogonal wavelet transform.
