【Abstract】 The redundancy design ideas as well as the fault detection/processing method are presented for the auxiliary system of DJ1electric locomotive introduced from Siemens. Factors to be taken into consideration for the load redistribution in case of equipment failuresare listed. With the redundancy design, auxiliary power supply could be available for loads through load redistribution.
