【Abstract】 Through the survey of "the Needham Problem", the paper has made a systematic analysis of the difficulty in solving the problem. An analysis of Sivin’s solution, in particular, points to the fact that the conceptual context for the Needham Problem is an instance of Science Westernism or a mild Science Westernism. On the basis of Sivin’s theory of the scientific revolution in the 17thcentury China, the paper has also made a study of the implication, characteristics and significance of the scientific revolution in modern China.更多还原
