【Abstract】 Concerning the core parts in ADM on STM 1 rate level, all hardware design and the corresponding software design were detailed, including optical board connected to SDH network, tributary board to add/drop E1, synchronous clock board, main control board etc. This design provided a basis for the development of various services access interface.
