【Abstract】 Cavity Wall (Or Veneer Wall) is an exterior wall system used in North America for its severe winter climates. The wall assembly performs well with its exterior insulation technologies. Because of the careful consideration in design details, this wall system is effective in minimizing condensation within the wall assembly and other negative effects imposed by climate factors. It shows satisfactory results in thermal performance, low-cost of maintenance and durability. This paper provides an overview of the wall system, the design considerations and details.更多还原
