【Abstract】 When the three-dimensional linear potential flow theory is applied to perform the hydroelastic analysis of large offshore structures, to increase the computational efficiency for large linear systems is one of crucial problems that need to be resolved. The GMRES method is used to solve complex matrix solution arising from the hydroelastic analysis of large offshore structures. The implemented stop criterion is based on backward error analysis. Numerical experiments indicate that GMRES method is more competitive than direct methods for the problems considered.更多还原
