太平洋波高成份研究

【摘要】 利用Topex/Poseidon卫星高度计 1 992年 1 0月到 1 998年 1 2月连续 75个月 ,2 30个重复周期的有效波高资料对南北太平洋的波高成份进行了分析 ,结果显示所有的月份 ,频数密度峰值对应的波高成份因子为 1 .4 ,以赤道太平洋海域最高为 1 .6 ,南北太平洋海域为 1 .2左右。 7、8、9、1 0月份太平洋涌浪成份占频数密度累积率的比例大于 95%,其余各月占 90 %左右 ,表明太平洋海域波高成份以涌浪为主。

【Abstract】 A statistical analysis of the significant wave height (SWH) in the Pacific Ocean is made with data from Topex/Poseidon altimeter from October,1992 to December,1998. The research included work on the temporal characteristics of statistical distribution of mixed wave height composition factor in the Pacific Ocean from January to December for years in succession in the Pacific Ocean. The results indicate that the value of the mixed wave height composition factor that occurred most frequently was about 1.4 for each month, the maximum value occurred in the Equatorial Pacific Ocean area, which is 1.6. In the southern and northern Pacific Ocean area, the value was about 1.2. Over 95% of the waves contain swell waves in July, August, September and October, while in the other months, the value is about 90%. In other words, the probability of swell waves is much greater than that of wind waves in the whole Pacific Ocean.
