【Abstract】 Fish stock assessment is to use various statistical and mathematical methods to quantify the reactions of fish population to fisheries management choices. Stock assessment is not only to forecast the static optimum fishing effort and sustainable yield, but also to assess the reactions of fish and fishermen to management choices and other changes. It is a difficult task to help the managers to make decisions in the dynamic fishery system. Fish stock assessment biologists should work with the managers and decision makers to raise proper questions, and to meditate dynamic reactions of fisheries to the changes.更多还原
