南沙海槽南部表层重砂矿物及其成矿远景

【摘要】 南沙海槽南部海区80余个站位重砂矿物研究表明,重矿物主要受古巽他河、湄公河及加里曼丹岛的短源河流影响,具有多期、多来源沉积特点。重砂矿物为钛铁矿、金红石、锆石、独居石等,主要分布于北康暗沙和南康暗沙一带、曾母暗沙浅滩海域的钙质生物砂中。砂矿品位和成矿元素Fe、Ti、Zr含量分布表明,南沙海槽南部海域砂矿可划分为3个成矿远景区:(1)北康暗沙锆石、独居石远景区;(2)南康暗沙锆石、钛铁矿远景区;(3)曾母暗沙锆石、钛铁矿、金红石远景区。

【Abstract】 Deposit resources in littoral zone and shallow sea area are one of the largest mineral resources. Exploration and study of mineral resources develop gradually in China from the north of the South China Sea (SCS) to the east,south,and west of the sea. The results of heavy minerals from about 80 samples from the southern Nansha Trough and adjacent sea area show that heavy minerals are mainly affected by rivers such as the Mekong and the paleoSunda River,and also short rivers in Palau Kalimantan,and that heavy minerals of different origins formed in different periods.The valuable heavy placer minerals consist of ilmenite, monazite,zircon, and rutile etc, which are mainly distributed in calcareous biological sand in the Beikang, Nankang and Zengmu submarine banks. According to scatterplots of placer grades and forming element contents of Fe,Ti,and Zr,three placers prospect future areas have been outlined,which are (1) zircon and monazite areas in the Beikang submarine bank,(2) zircon and ilmenite areas in the Nankang submarine bank,and (3) zircon, ilmenite and rutile areas in the Zengmu submarine bank.
