基于AMBE-1000的通用语音压缩系统

【摘要】 AMBE-1000是由DVSI公司推出的高性能多速率语音编码-解码芯片。它的语音压缩算法采用专利的AMBE语音压缩技术。该芯片具有语音音质好和编码波特率低、功耗小等优点。TLC32044是由TI公司推出的14位动态可调的高精度可编程的A/D-D/A芯片。该文介绍AMBE-1000、TLC32044的性能特点和工作原理,并给出通用语音压缩系统的应用实例。

【Abstract】 Digital Voice Systems Inc.’s AMBE-1000 Vocoder Chip is an high-performance and variable data rates single chip which can be viewed as two separate components, the encoder and the decoder. It provides superior voice quality at low data rates and needs very low power. Patented AMBE voice compression technology has been used in the voice compression software algorithm. TI Inc.’s TLC32044 chip is a 14-bit dynamic range and high precision programmable A/D-D/A chip. This article mainly introduces the performance and the principle of AMBE-1000 and TLC32044, and gives some examples of the application of general speech transaction system .
