【Abstract】 The preparation technique,capability optimization and the theoretic analyses and experiment research about coupling process of magnetismmechanics are two main topics in the research of the giant magnetostrictive materials. The technique of directional solidification is the main preparation method of manufacturing the giant magnetostrictive materials in domestic and international producers. The paper reviews the principles,technical characters and problems in different kinds of traditional and new type of directional solidification techniques.A new ameliorated directional solidification technique is also presented.更多还原
