【Abstract】 The experiments on polyculture of withe-leg shrimp Penaeus vannamei with mullet Mugil cephalus were carried out in high level ponds covering with mulch film in prawn culture ground located at Longlouye Bay, Wenchang, Hainan province from 27 March to 7 August 2003. The results showed that the unit output of white-leg shrimp and mullet was 934kg/667m2 and 40kg/667m2, respectively. The average profit was 1. 68 yuan/667m2. The culture pattern plays an active role in the improvement of ecological environment of ponds, reduction of the outbreak of diseases and increase the production.更多还原
