【Abstract】 How to use of the current data on hand to make a reasonable assessment which can satisfy the reality of engineering has been the designing engineers’ most concern. Combined with the DNV RP F105(2002), this paper has summed up som e current methods of assessing the free span of submarine pipelines and then put forward the corresponding method that assessing the free span.
