【Abstract】 Initiative is an Asian American political participation organization, mainly made up of Chinese Americans. Its original purpose was to play a role in the U.S. presidential election in 2000. This paper studies the causes, goals and purposes of the establishment of the organization, the selection and argument of the presidential candidates, the evaluation of the organization’s influence, and its development prospect in the future. Besides, the author has commented and thought over the new strategy of the Chinese American and Asian American political participation in contemporary USA.更多还原
