【Abstract】 Swearwords, or curses, have not been studied much as a linguistic phenomenon. The "rascal" novelist Wangshuo makes use of lots of swearwords in his writing, which reflect the richness and colorfulness of the particular language in reality. Varieties of swearwords include depreciating the counterparts as animals or things or base persons or even excrements, swearing the counterparts’ older generations, uttering words about sexual organs, or frankly evaluative curses, etc, which are culturally connoted.更多还原
